The first official addon to the hit indie game Minecraft is set to be playable at the PAX Prime gaming festival in Seattle next month. Minecraft creator Markus Persson told fans via Twitter that the Adventure Update will be playable at the festival.

If you’re not attending the convention you will have to wait a little while longer before you can play but you probably won’t have to wait that long.

The add-on is set to bring more of an RPG feel to Minecraft and will include things like NPC villages, randomly generated dungeons, critical hits and sprinting. You can also read about other features in Markus Persson’s blog.
