2K Games revealed in a press release this morning that Borderlands 2 will be coming to gamers sometime between April 1, 2012 and March 31, 2013.

The sequel is going to be set on the planet Pandora which is the same as the original Borderlands. The game will also feature ”all new characters, skills, environments, enemies, weapons and equipment, which come together in an ambitiously crafted story.”
