Players may need to rethink their killstreak layouts in the next instalment of the Call of Duty franchise – Modern Warfare 3.

Infinity Ward’s community expert Robert Browning has told fans to prepare for a completely redesigned killstreak system. Bowling reported that they have “changed the entire way the killstreak system works. I can’t go into detail yet, but I will share when I can.”

Bowling also confirmed on Reddit that the killstreak system will add improved team support instead of killstreak rewards which assist only one player. So expect to be seeing more things like UAV’s and EMP’s and less things like air strikes and attack helicopters.

A preview of the game’s new co-op survival mode is also due to be revealed on US TV in early July.

What killstreaks would you like to see? And what killstreaks would you get rid of?

  1. The new Call of Duty game looks better than any other game that I have seen. This game cannot be released soon enough for me!
